The Earth Salon presents Slow Fashion: Ethically Sourced Fabrics with Laura Chenoweth, Sunday, September 8, 1–2:30 pm ADT (6–7:30 pm CET) Free

Join us via Zoom (passcode: sacred) for a discussion about sustainable fabric choices, responsible manufacturing, organic cotton, India, supply chain, conscious fashion and textile waste. ¶ Laura Chenoweth is a creative, driven, and resourceful professional who has been working within the textile industry since her first visit to India in 1995. ¶ Her experience includes 25 years of work in the textile business. She has managed an organic cotton apparel line and has experience initiating home decor product design. She is constantly inspired by the natural world and currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with her son.

The monthly Earth Salons are an initiative of the Shambhala Touching the Earth Collective, and are curated and facilitated by Deborah Luscomb, with occasional guest ‘experts’.
