In this time of summer fullness join Barbara Bash in a contemplative art practice that engages with the natural world through simple blind contour drawing and fresh distilled writing. 

We will let the principles of heaven, earth and human – sky, earth heart – guide our exploration. No art experience needed, only a willingness to look – be lost – and wide eyed.

Bring pencils, pens and/or colored markers and some bond or drawing paper .

Barbara Bash has written and illustrated a number of books on the natural world for children and most recently True Nature: An Illustrated Journal of Four Seasons in Solitude. Over the years her drawing has become more relaxed and her words more personal.
