This illustrated talk will show how to make and use compost, and bit about why it works. Questions are welcome. I will also have images and talk about the garden and the role of compost through the seasons. I hope this talk will encourage you to make compost somewhere. Zoom in with this link.
Bob Howard trained with Alan Chadwick at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1971. He was the gardener to Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. He managed a Community Supported Agricultural farm near Boulder, CO. He taught horticulture at The Naropa Institute/University for 22 years. He managed a landscape company in Boulder and in Halifax, NS. He was the education director for the Atlantic Rhododendron & Horticulture Society for 10 years. He likes making compost.
